Under the motto "dream up the future" Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has been presenting ideas for a new future with new forms of economy, society, industry, technology and IT through publications and events. The "Dream Up the Future Forum" is a part of this effort.
Japanese society is currently facing numerous problems such as the mass retirement of the baby boomer generation, the decline in population and the birth rate, the severe aging of the population, the escalation of global competition, the stagnation of the economy and various environmental problems. The forum will bring together prominent thinkers from diverse fields in order to "Conceive a New Japan".
