"Nakajo Fukube Hacchome Shinjuu" Exhibition

Creation Gallery G8
Finished

Artists

Masayoshi Nakajo, Issei Fukube
Masayoshi Nakajo handled art direction for Hanatsubaki at Shiseido for more than 40 years, produced logo designs for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo and Spiral. He also had an illustrious career as an illustrator, undermining established ideas and stereotypes in the design industry with his fresh, innovative designs.

Issei Fukube is an art director who created unique campaigns for QP Half and the innovative layout and aesthetic of the magazine "Mayonaka." His striking graphic sensibility and perfectly judged sense of asymmetry and "unbalance" was embodied by the striped series shown at an exhibition held last year.

These two designers have gained much attention both from the graphic design industry and young people who aspire towards the profession. For this exhibition, Nakajo and Fukube have created new posters.

Talk event also scheduled. See website for more details.
