1) "The Power of Paintings -The Magic of Paints-"
2) "Drawing -The Thinking Hand-" October 31st - December 12th
3) Jin Kyu Kwon Exhibition October 19th - December 5th

Paints are not simply a physical tool for painting, but play a crucial role in making painterly expression possible. It not only functions to describe a color but at times exudes its own sensuality. The marks left by the brushes (or the lack of them) are sometimes an indivisible part of the painted world. Paintings are born through a incessant interaction between the artist and the paints.

This exhibition will present such unique attractiveness of the medium of painting made possible by the expressiveness of paints, displaying more than 70 works by 54 painters who have taught oil painting at the university since its establishment.
