"Harue Koga: A Retrospective" Exhibition
This event has ended.
Harue Koga (1895-1933) was active as a Western-style painter from the late Taisho period to the early Showa period. This exhibition traces his career, which lasted only twenty years or so before he succumbed to an illness, chronologically in four chapters divided by turning points in the artist's life. Also on display are a number of poems that influenced his output as a painter.
Talks and lectures also scheduled. See website for details.
