This exhibition by Majima is composed of pencil drawings and objets d’art made with various materials.

Majima creates her drawings without making a draft beforehand, starting with a single line that then multiplies, one line leading to another, becoming a bundle, then forming a swirl. In her pencil drawings, there are algae swimming in the water, microorganisms, sperm, blood vessels and other things that remind us of the insides of our body.

The carp and human-shaped objets d’art are made with threads in various colors and clothes featuring different patterns. The carp, one of Majima' s favorite motifs, sidles toward us, making a sloshy, squirming sound ("nyuru nyuru nyoro nyoro"), arousing in us an appreciation of the life and death that normally pass unnoticed in our daily lives.
