Since opening in 1994, Museum Haus Kasuya has focused on introducing viewers to the domestic and international art scenes, holding solo and group exhibitions of selected artists. For 2010, a series of exhibitions that reconsider the possibilities of contemporary art in Japan by taking hints from European art.

This is the first exhibition in that series, featuring paintings by two German artists - Edgar Hofschen, who has participated in Documenta 6, and Anke Erlenhoff.
