This Art Hunting Tour offers participants the chance to hear the real story behind some of Tokyo's most intriguing contemporary art venues. The tour will first make a stop at the Museum of Contemporary Art to see the exhibition by London fashion designer Hussein Chalayan. We'll also take a peek at the "Plastic Memories" show featuring pieces from the MOT's collection by artists like Christian Boltanski, Apitchatpong Weerasethakul, Tomoko Yoneda and Yuki Kimura.
Next, we will visit Lyota Yagi's exhibition at SNAC, Mujinto Production's newly opened space in a former izakaya; Benjamin Butler's "Painting and Drawing" at Tomio Koyama Gallery, the Ryoko Kimura show at printmaking workshop Kido Press, and finally the Yasumasa Morimura exhibition at ShugoArts.
