John Lurie "You Are Here"
This event has ended.
At Watari-um, The Watari Museum of Contemporary Art
Media: Painting, Drawing
When he developed an intractable neurological illness in the late 90's, John Lurie, no longer able to perform or act, turned to painting as a means of self-expression.
In today's irrational world, his canvases deliver straightforward messages detached from money, fame, politics and the environment.
