"Barbara Capocchin International Architecture Biennale in Japan" Exhibition

The Barbara Capocchin International Architecture Prize was founded with the aim of enhancing the quality of contemporary architecture while maintaining a relationship to the local community. Past Japanese recipients of the prize include Jun Igarashi and Hikohito Konishi, while architect Kengo Kuma held an exhibition of his work entitled "Two carp: water/land - village/urban" at the Palazzo della Ragione in 2007, which showcased spectacular approaches to harmonizing architecture with nature. This exhibition also features models from the Mario Botta (2003), David Chipperfield (2005) and Zaha Hadid (2009) exhibitions.
