Tamotsu Kido was born in 1974 in Mie prefecture. Since graduating from the oil painting department at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, he has been based in Nagoya. Although he majored in painting in art school, Kido has always been attracted to the medium of photography, which he studied independently.

This is Kido's first solo show at Galerie Humanite, featuring around 30 of his newest and most recent works.
