Orissa is an old coastal city off the Bay of Bengal that is home to countless historic ruined temples, including the Konark Sun Temple, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Curated by Masako Ono, a dancer living in Orissa who is the only Japanese practitioner of Odissi dance officially recognized by the Indian government, this exhibition features videos, photographs and handmade crafts that introduce viewers to the rich and varied culture of the region.
