This exhibition introduces viewers to the work of Taisho era furniture designer Nobuo Moriya (1893-1927). Although Moriya passed away tragically at the young age of 33, he made extremely significant contributions through his research, writing and educational activities along with his career as a furniture designer. On display are designs for products that most clearly demonstrate his ideals and creative spirit as a designer. A total of 13 pieces, including reproductions, will be exhibited across two sections.
