Eiichi Watanabe won top honors at the first printmaking Grand Prix exhibition organized by Galerie Nichido in 1970, and is a leading practitioner of the burin technique. This solo show features 20 oil paintings that meld both medieval and contemporary techniques, as well as a selection of Watanabe's burin prints.
