Ben Woolfitt "Musings"
This event has ended.
This exhibition focuses on Woolfitt's drawings – graphite, wax and silver leaf on paper. There are 20 large drawings and 21 smaller ones. The artist's use of metallics dates back to the early 1970s when he used gold spray paint as the base for many of his works on paper.
Woolfitt's work has been shown and collected widely in Canada and the US. There was also a major exhibition of his drawings and small paintings in Thailand in 2007. His drawings and paintings can be found in numerous museums and major collections in Canada such as the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, the Glenbow Museum, and Hart House-University of Toronto.
