The Kasama-born nihonga painter Buzan Kimura (1876-1942) was one of the central figures in the modernization of the Japanese painting genre led by Tenshin Okukura. This exhibition offers an overview of Kimura's wide-ranging artistic career, showcasing historical paintings, bird-and-flower paintings, Buddhist works and more.
