On display are photos that depict a certain restless chaos in the city of Nikko that represents a piece of the universe at the "world's end", characterized by a style of building that resembles baroque architecture in how it relishes visual delight and excessive ornamentation, as opposed to the pursuit of eternity as embodied in Renaissance architecture.
