Artists

Yosuke Kawamura
Yosuke Kawamura was a pioneering leader of the "hetauma" style of illustration that first made its appearance during the era of super-realistic illustration that flourished in the late 1960s. He produced numerous works for music-related magazines in addition to advertising posters.

This exhibition showcases some 600 works selected from Kawamura's prodigious output, including a selection of notebooks from his teenage years that are being exhibited for the first time, pieces produced by 100% Studio along with Nobuhiko Yabuki and Teruhiko Yumura, as well as recent works for magazines and advertisements.
