The Tokyo Art Meeting explores new possibilities through the coming together of expressions from a variety of fields and contemporary art. This exhibition, which is the fifth in the series, welcomes Mansai Nomura as general adviser and will look at diverse physical expressions, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, examining ways in which our physical memories can be integrated with modern creativity. It will present diverse expressions, such as traditional physical expressions grasped through multimedia and reconfigured to be reborn in a contemporary form, or expressions in spatial composition etc. resulting from the collaboration between performer and contemporary artist.
