Tsuyoshi Hisakado “Quantize”
Ota Fine Arts
This event has ended.
Tsuyoshi Hisakado samples and manipulates sound, light and other phenomenon to create installation works, with recent shows including the solo exhibition at Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo and the group show at Aomori Contemporary Art Centre. “Quantize” refers to a process in which live music may be notated in a way which removes the imprecisions of expression and here in this exhibition, Hisakado combines his classic style of installation with the quantizing of rhythms and volumes of individual phenomena to create a polyphonic space.
