Ground, formed in 2014 by Takanobu Kobayashi, Nobuhiko Nukata, Naofumi Maruyama, Nobuyuki Takahashi, and Masanori Igari, acts on a shared analytic focus with the goal of presenting the potential, the possibilities of painting. For this exhibition, they will exhibit their works and hold symposiums, creating a Ground in which the painter and the viewer can discuss and think about paintings together.
