Carsten Nicolai is a leader in contemporary art who presents his work on the theme of human perception and natural phenomena on an international scale. He is also active as a musician, going by the name Alva Noto, his music popular in Japan. For Nicolai’s first solo exhibition in Japan for almost 15 years and his largest one to date, six projects will be presented, including works that have never been displayed publicly in the country. While exploring what lies at the root of Nicolai’s language of expression, appreciate the new experiences on offer with these works.
