Sakura City in Chiba Prefecture has become a destination for cycling enthusiasts in recent years as the setting for the animated version of the popular manga “Yowamushi Pedal” about competitive racing. This exhibition introduces the history, lifestyles, arts, and future of bicycles from a variety of angles, telling the story of the close relationship between society and the bicycle over the past century.
