The “Turning Pages Video” series features a books and the hands that turns their pages. In order to read a book, we must turn its pages with our own hands, but these hands that are so essential to the reading experience exist outside of the reality of the text. Through the works presented here, viewers have a chance to connect these things: the text, the book, the hand that turns the pages, and video.
