An exhibition focusing on portraits from throughout filmmaker and photographer Taishi Hirokawa’s career, including his ongoing “Sonomama Sonomama” series started in the 1980s featuring people he encountered in rural Japan and asked to change into designer clothes; family portraits of actors and cultural figures; and family portraits from the disaster-stricken town of Soma, Fukushima.
