Video artist Hiraki Sawa has found international acclaim with his works blurring lines between reality and fiction. This exhibition focusing on Sawa’s film installations incorporates a program of dance, reading, and rap performances. Seeing Sawa’s mysterious images in a theater setting encourages viewers to reacquaint themselves with their own memories, find connections with the memories’ of others, and venture into new understandings of themselves.
