The Biennial of Illustration Bratislava, held once every two years in Slovakia, is the world’s largest picture book competition. This exhibition introduces original illustrations from picture books by new artists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as panel-selected works by artists from around the world featured in the 27th Biennial of Illustration Bratislava in 2019. Additionally, illustrations by four Japanese artists such as Chiki Kikuchi, who received a gold medal at the 2019 exhibition, are featured.
