The permanent collection of the Museum introduces the lineage of contemporary art from the view point of fine art history with approximately 3,800 works. In addition numerous temporary exhibitions of post-war art are held. The Art Information Center not only gathers, classifies and accumulates various information related to fine art, but it also offers the latest information through various types of media. Furthermore, the Art Library is filled with documentation on modern and contemporary art. The museum is an essential establishment for learning and gathering information learn modern to contemporary art history.
