Omotesando is a transmitter of cultural phenomena, including art and fashion. In February 2006, ''Omotesando Hills'' is opened right on the Omotesandou street which connects the Omotesandou Station to the Meiji Shrine. Gallery Doujunkai is located on the second floor of Omotesandou Hills Doujunkai Apartments, which is a landmark three-storey building. Along with the great view of the Zelkowa Serrata trees along the road, the space provides you a comfortable environment to enjoy the arts. With the idea of "art for the public, for a larger audience", the space generates amusements, surprises, and beauty of art with an emphasis on contemporary art.
