Since the late 90's, Kobayashi Kohei and the independent artist collective "art space dot" have come to play a prominent role in the Nagoya art scene. At the '99 Fukui Biennale, Kobayashi burst out on the international scene with his video work.
For this exhibition, Kobayashi will premiere a new video series titled "2-3" which, unlike his previous videos, meshes together sound with various performative actions. A group of photographs depicting scenes from his video worlds will accompany this exhibition.
