This exhibition will put on display the works of women artists, who, in the early 70's, aspired to create new expressions of their own by participating in avant-garde art movements or by actually keeping distant from them.
The exhibition consists of 220 works of painting, print, sculpture, objet and video, by 46 female artists, going back as early as the 50's.

Note:On a Public Holiday Monday, the museum is open but closed on the following Tuesday.

From JR Utsunomiya Station or Tobu Utsunomiya Station, take the Kanto-Bus for Sakusingakuin-Komanyu. Get off at Sakuradori-Jumonji.
