Airplanes have made high-speed travel possible, and various forms of technology have hypered up daily life to an unprecedented extent. Cell phones, for instance, have changed what kids do after school, and are a decisive tool for a couple's next date spot. Whether you like it or not, the everyday reality that comes to life here is cut short in bits and pieces, airily dithering about.
Three European artists, Silvia Bachli, Beat Zoderer and Lars Müller, themselves temporary migrants, express this fragmentary nature of metropolitan everyday life through their art.
