This event has ended.
At Apple Store Ginza
Media: Art Talk

This workshop has been organized by the "KIDI Parsons" school, which takes young people who aspire to be artists and prepares them for a transfer to the New York Parsons School of Art, from which many known artists emerge.

The guest speakers will look back at the art scene in 2006 both from the point of view of viewers and art producers, asking not only what art means to the way we live or how we should look at it, but also how one can succeed as an artist both in Japan and abroad.

Speakers:
Yumi Yamaguchi (Art Producer and promoter of contemporary art, advisor at KIDI)
Tokyo Trash (http://www.so-net.ne.jp/tokyotrash/index02.html)
Cecile Andrieu Kawakami (Head of KIDI Parsons, artist)

Doors open at 17:30, talk begins 18:00
Capacity: 80 people; seating available on a first come first served basis.
Location: 3rd Floor Theatre, Apple Store Ginza
Participation free, but reservation in advance would be appreciated.
