'Passing on Distance' Contemporary Art in Indonesia: The 4th Generation
This event has ended.
At Base Gallery
Media: Painting
Base Gallery has been introducing Asian artists for the past ten years. This present exhibition features 5 Indonesian artists who have all been actively working since the late 1990s.
Compared to other artists who have been shown at the gallery, such as Heri Dono, Krisna Murti and FX Harsono, these 5 artists are less political and ethnic. Each artist seems to face up to their own personal expressions.
