This exhibition presents an overview of the career of the legendary artist, Isamu Noguchi [1904-1988]. It is divided into four categories: "Faces", "Myths", "For the Community", and "Sun". Along with sculptures, models and furniture that represent the span of his career, the original stage set of "Dark Ranch" that was designed for reknowned modern dancer Martha Graham will be exhibited for the first time in Japan.

最近は美術館へ行くよりも、公園で昼寝でもしていた方が、よっぽど幸せで有意義なんじゃないかと本気で思っているし、この展覧会を見ても考えは大して変わらない。それでも、イサムの作品を見てまわる人々はまるで散歩をしているようにラフで楽しそうだし、作品群は遊びころげる子どものように真剣で表情豊かだった。いくら眺めてても飽きない。のびやかで、窮屈な雨の日に出向くには、なかなかいいんじゃないか。
