Hisashi Tenmyouya is an artist that embodies counter culture in the spirit of 'Basara' of the Muromachi Period and 'Kabukimono' of the Edo Period. This exhibition will include: "Made in Japan", a large work with three samurais in front of the national flag painted by autumn leaves, "Yamagoe Amidazo", a painting of an amida with tattoos, a color version of "Transparent Scrolls" that uses tracing paper to construct a hanging scroll, and more.
