With the support of the family, this museum has been researching the Tokugawa family archives and held various exhibitions on the results. This exhibition focuses on three figures who lived through the transitional period of Edo - 1st shogun Ieyasu, reformer Yoshimune, and Iesato who became the head of the family in the Meiji period after the overthrow of the Tokugawa Shogunate. This exhibition introduces the historical background of these years using artifacts and documents from the period.
