Museum of Modern Art, Saitama presents the third exhibition of "New Vision Saitama," featuring seven Saitama-based emerging artists each selected by seven of the museum's curators.
The selected artists come from different generations and work in different media such as painting, installation, design and so on. What can be said about these seven artists is that they pursue their own original methods and perspectives, keeping their distance from trends in the art scene. In the 21st century, while people's cultural and societal value systems have become more dispersed, art is acknowledged and consumed by larger audiences than before. At the same time, it is hard to specify what art theories and methodologies should be highlighted the most. Given this, it is important to look carefully at each artist's practice in order to speak of a new vision of art and culture.

3 minutes walk from the West exit at Kita-Urawa Station on JR Keihin Tohoku Line. The museum is situated in the Kita-Urawa Park.
