This film is based on artist Naohisa Inoue's original story "Iblard," about the fantastical world of the same name. Nona was walking through a bare desert alone, where he meets a strange woman called Nina and starts living in the hut on her farm. One day he receives some star seeds in exchange for vegetables and decides to grow them.
Duration: 16 minutes.
Based on "Iblard" by Naohisa Inoue.
Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
Music by Norihiro Tsuru and Yuriko Nakamura.
