Teruo Shinozaki, born in Narita, started out as a painter of wooden plaques. "Emado", which takes the Shinsho Temple of Narita Mountain as its model, is one of the representative works of this period. In the 80s, Shinozaki traveled the Silk Road and produced many works to the theme of Buddhist monuments and folk culture.
100 oil paintings, watercolors and sketches by Shinozaki will be on display for a retrospective exhibition to introduce the entirety of his work.
