Artists such as Gahou Hashimoto, Taikan Yokoyama, Shunsou Hishida who had a great influence on modern Nihon-ga continue to move viewers with their works to this day. This exhibition commemorates the opening of the new Daimaru Museum Tokyo and will feature over 60 modern Nihon-ga masterpieces from the Mizuno Museum's permanent collection of over 400 works. This will be the first time the Mizuno Collection is open to the public in Tokyo.
