Sobajima's canvases are filled with food-related objects, like bread wrappers, plastic bags, tofu packaging, egg cartons and plastic bottles. At the root of his work is an underlying, quasi-religious conviction that food is the seed and sustenance of everyday life. This exhibition will show 5 oil paintings.
