Association of Chuo Area was established last year. At the meeting they held in April, they invited Toshihiro Nakagawa from Mitsui Fudosan to hold a discussion on plans for promoting the Nihonbashi area.
For this time, they are inviting Masao Yoshida, the president of ukiyo-e publisher, Ibasen, which has a long tradition since the Edo period. Maintaining the high quality and philosophy of traditional print studio, Mr. Yoshida is engaged in various activities to promote the Nihonbashi Miyuki-dori shopping area. He will talk about his experiences as a promoter of the historical Nihonbashi area. The second half of this talk will be joined by Chuo Ward officer, Uzumi Yoshida, to open up a discussion on the roles of architect on a local level.
