Kazuto Miura + Masao Sekiguchi "Time for Snapshots"
This event has ended.
At Mitaka City Gallery of Art
Media: Photography
At the Shigeo Gocho exhibition held in 2004 at the Mitaka City Gallery of Art, Shigeo Gocho (1946-1983) was introduced as a photographer who captured 1960s-80s Japan in line with his own personal life, in the form of snapshot photographs.
Kazuto Miura (1946-) and Masao Sekiguchi (1946-) were close associates of Gocho when they all worked together at the Kuwasawa Design Research Institute. Through a display of Miura's and Sekiguchi's works, this exhibition homes in on snapshot photography in particular.
