AMICI is a dance theater company in London whose members consist of both disabled and able-bodied people. This exhibition features 19 color photographs of AMICI members that the artist took over a one-year period. The title of the exhibition is a direct quotation of a friend's question, one that came up during a discussion about these photographs. Here, the word "our" refers to all kinds of people. In some of his works, subjects are clearly figured and captured, while subjects in other works are abstracted to the point where they become unidentifiable. The different levels of abstraction in these photographs reflect the varying retentive capacities of the artist's memory towards each of his subjects.
