This is the second co-production between Setagaya Public Theatre and Complicite’s Artistic Director, Simon McBurney. This time McBurney collaborates with nine Japanese actors, based on the novel and essay of Jun-ihciro Tanizaki, The Portrait of Shun-kin and In Praise of Shadows. Through the eyes of British artist, Shun-kin will introduce another phase of Japanese culture.
