Lines and colors are the basic components that make up a work of art. In particular, an artist's technical prowess can be measured just by the pulling action required to draw a single line. This special exhibition showcases works from the permanent collection that are composed of lines. Works by various artists such as Hiroya Hori, Keisuke Yamaguchi, Yoshiki Kawashima and Toshihisa Fudezuka, each working in different media will be on display, but what they share is the use of spare shapes, simple lines and curves, and the sorts of images and spaces that emerge out of them. By turns strong and delicate, the manifold ways in which these lines overlap with each other produce complicated, profound works comprised of these gentle lines.
* In addition to the special collection of works displayed, many other works will also be available for viewing. Please do drop by!
