Ever since 1999, the “MOT Annual” exhibition has explored new trends in art in contemporary Japan, employing themes closely linked to the times. The 10th MOT Annual will take “ornament” as its theme and introduce artists of diverse fields who explore time, space, and existence of self using ornament's emotional appeal as a creative form.
