This event has ended.

The Spiral Independent Creators Festival (SICF) was founded in 2000 with the aim of discovering new and fresh talent from the next generation of young creators. For 4 days over Golden Week, over 100 groups of young creators will present their work at Spiral, including art, product design, fashion, video, film and more. Exhibitors will be permanently stationed at their booth so that visitors can approach them directly and talk about their work.

The jury members who will decide the winners of this year's SICF prizes are Fumio Nanjo, director of the Mori Art Museum; Takashi Asai, president of Uplink; Takahiko Sato, press officer at Beams; Shigeki Hattori, president of graf; and Tsutomu Okada, chief curator at Spiral.
