This event has ended.

Born in Yokotsuka in 1947, Ikuko Fujishiro has been teaching herself patchwork since the Eighties. Her unusual use of old materials and silk won her prizes in competitions in Japan and overseas. Though she had been continuing her pioneering work using fragments of patchwork she passed away in 2004. This exhibition features 16 large tapestries of her work, celebrating the mark left by this Yokotsuka talent.
