This event has ended.

One of the representative crops of the Musashino plain is wheat. Since the early Showa era wheat has been grown in order to produce udon for self-consumption and sale, creating a strong sense of community around the food: where's there's people, they say there's always udon to make and eat. This exhibition looks at the agricultural, food and traditional cultures behind this lifestyle.
